Founded in the 1940s at Meher Baba’s request, Meher Spiritual Center is a retreat for “rest, meditation, and the renewal of the spiritual life.” The approximate 500 acres that comprise Meher Center are wholly dedicated to the life of the spirit as described by Avatar Meher Baba.

In 1958 Meher Baba directed that the Center be preserved “in perpetuity” as a non-profit corporation. Accordingly, on September 30, 1959, Meher Spiritual Center, Inc. was formed. Its charter was approved by Meher Baba and remains the foundation of Meher Center operations today.

Meher Spiritual Center mails out a newsletter about three times a year
describing recent news and activities at the Center. This section
contains copies of the four most recent newsletters.

Meher Spiritual Center provides Meher-Center-Messages, e-mailed communications
from the Center. Topics include updates on the strategic planning
process, the weekly program schedule, newsletters, and special
announcements (scheduled guest speakers and special events,
and occasionally other important news).
