One building contains both a library and a reading room which are available for use by Meher Spiritual Center’s guests and visitors.
The Saroja Library has a wide collection of books, periodicals, videos and audiotapes about Meher Baba. Many of these Meher Baba books and periodicals are out-of-print. In addition, there are books from a wide variety of the world’s spiritual traditions, including Christian mysticism, Sufism and Vedantic literature. There are some general interest books as well, and a section of children’s books.
The videos and audiotapes may only be viewed or listened to in the Library, but books may be checked out. The Library is open daily at the following specific times:
Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday 2 p.m.- 4 p.m.
The Dilruba Reading Room is open every day from 9 a.m to 11 p.m. It provides a quiet, pleasant place for reading. Also, Center programs are held there in the evening three times a week.
