“Baba sent His Agents”

In this short but profound story, Rhoda Dubash shares an incident that brought her to safety through Baba’s loving grace. While her husband Adi Dubash was with Baba for a sahavas, she was home alone with her son. One night, suddenly, she was woken up from deep sleep at midnight. There was a knock on her door and she rushed to check who could possibly be there at that hour? What she saw was proof of Baba’s protective love towards her.

“This is the plight of each individual”

In this short audio, Eruch recites a lesser known and humorous story told to him by Baba. The story is about a con-man seeking precious gem stones from a jeweler. It is the eternal story of seeking and finding, bringing home the point that what we are seeking on the outside is usually found within.

“Keep concentrating on Baba”

Mehera Irani was Baba’s closest female disciple, whose life will stand as a testament on how best to love Him throughout time. In this audio clip, Mehera discusses meditation. She talks about the difficulties of focusing a mind that hasn’t yet seen God. She says that Baba rarely asked her and the other women to meditate, but goes on to share a story of Baba tasking her and a few other women in the early days at Meherabad to meditate on His photo.

“I shall become yours when you become Mine”

Ishtiake Showk is a ghazal written by Meher Baba in His early days. In this recording, Katie Irani, one of the female mandali members who dedicated her life to Baba, sings a beautiful rendition, briefly explaining the ghazal’s significance at the end.

“Leave it to Him”

Francis Brabazon was an Australian poet and artist who first heard of Meher Baba in the late 1940s, and after several years of trying, was able to meet Him in Myrtle Beach in 1952. He went on to live with Baba in India, and became a member of His mandali. At Meher Baba’s request, Francis wrote what was to become his most significant work, entitled “Stay with God.” Meher Baba said that it was “the most important book after God Speaks.” In this audio, we hear the master poet read out a section of the his book which pleased Baba so much.

“What is Baba’s Will?”

In this profound audio, Adi K Irani and Meherjee Karkaria throw light on the eternal question, “What is Baba’s will?” With examples, they address, the difference between individual will and Baba’s will. Going on to answer another great questions: How can we then incorporate His will guided by His light into our own free will?

“It is not easy to obey Him”

In this footage from 1971, Eruch dictates common phrases of Meher Baba’s while Mani delightfully and with great expression translates into Baba’s hand gestures. Eruch then goes on to share a selection of stories relating to the difficulty of obeying Baba 100%.

“Baba provides the answer before the question comes up”

Meher Baba’s sister, Mani, was wholly devoted to Baba from the moment she came into this world. In this recording, she speaks about trusting that Baba will do “His job” when it comes to our lives. She illustrates through experiences of herself and others that we cannot know what Baba wants for us, but we must trust that He knows, and that He will make it clear in time.
