Trail of Tears The Musical Hollywood to Prague with Meher Baba
We are happy to showcase the Musical called “Trail of Tears,” which was performed at the Center to commemorate Meher Baba’s automobile accident in Prague, Oklahoma, on May 24th, 1952. In this heartfelt production, we follow the life of a fictional character called Clara, a native of Prague, whose life was changed after a chance encounter with Meher Baba in Hollywood in 1932. Going back and forth between 1932 and 1952, we see Baba’s silent hand in Clara’s life. until all is revealed to Clara when Baba has His accident in her hometown.

“He was the Essence of Purity”
Anne Forbes was slated to meet Meher Baba in 1952. When Baba had His accident that year, she wondered how a real Master could ever have an accident. She passed on the opportunity due to doubt. When her friend Loretta described her meeting with Baba and compared His suffering to that of Christ, Anne awaited her next chance to see Baba. She met Him in 1956 at the Delmonico Hotel. She wanted to express her deep regret to Baba for missing Him before, but when she saw Him, she melted into His ever-loving and all-knowing arms.

A Blind Woman sees Baba
In this story narrated by Eruch Jessawala, we hear about an old, poor woman from Aragaon village who was blind from birth. All she ever longed for was to see Baba until she heard one day that He had dropped His body. She begged people to bring her to the tomb but no one ever did, until Baba appeared outside her hut as she called out to Him!

“Meher Baba Begins His Work at Meherabad 1924” A talk by Peter Nordeen
In this incredibly educational talk, Peter Nordeen walks us through the formation and earliest days of Meherabad, with a specific focus on the year 1924. Interwoven with beautiful photographs, he spares no details in painting us a picture of what life was like for the early Mandali who had promised their lives over to Meher Baba.

Discipline and Love
In this powerful audio, Adi K. Irani speaks about discipleship and love with Meher Baba. Through a small incident, Adi was taught by Baba to follow orders and obey Him despite the fact that Baba was so free and natural with His disciples. He then talks about a period when Baba trained them meticulously to be disciplined and truthful in following Him wholeheartedly.

“We all have to find that inner guidance”
Filis Frederick first met Meher Baba at Meher Center in 1952, after having learned about Him a decade earlier from Princess Norina Matchabelli, Countess Nadine Tolstoy and Mrs. Elizabeth Patterson.
