“Love means obedience”
Bill LePage is an author, storyteller and a close Australian disciple of Meher Baba. He first met Meher Baba when he was chosen as one of the western men to attend the Three Incredible Weeks Darshan in India in 1954 and had close contact with Baba over the years. In this video, Bill recounts the story of Baba’s visit to Australia in 1958, interspersing profound details with gems of wisdom from his time around Baba and the Mandali.

Opening
Wendy Connor, the “Resident Storyteller” of the Meher Center Youth Sahavas, opens the first Virtual Youth Sahavas with Meher Baba’s words and reminding all of the meaning of Sahavas: the intimate company of God.

Celebration
Each Youth Sahavas has a “Celebration,” where teens entertain Baba and each other with their talents and skills. This year, participants sent in virtual offerings, including music, art, and something resembling juggling. We’re glad that our wider community can be part of the audience this year and add your love and appreciation to the “applause” that has resounded through the event for decades.

Senior Closing
The senior sharing is a much-anticipated event at the Youth Sahavas. This sharing normally takes place every year in the Barn on the last night of Sahavas, where senior participants have a chance to share their heartfelt experience of being at the Sahavas. This video of Aria Irani’s story is a glimpse into that sharing from this year’s virtual closing.

Meher Baba at the Delmonico Hotel
This raw, unedited audio of Meher Baba and His lovers was recorded at the Delmonico Hotel in 1956. Perhaps it will provide a glimpse of what it was like to be with the Master during that special time. Within the varied, everyday sounds, it is possible to make out Eruch interpreting Baba’s gestures as He moves easily from spiritual subjects to everyday logistics; laughter erupting as Baba tosses grapes as prasad; and lovers old and new being introduced to their Beloved.
