Dear Meher Center Family and Friends,
We are happy to announce the Spring Cleaning Sahavas at Meher Center from March 12th to 15th, 2026.
The Spring Cleaning Sahavas is a time when friends and family of Meher Center, people of all ages, gather in service to Meher Baba and His home in the West. During the Sahavas, we’ll roll up our sleeves to help with essential cleaning and maintenance of the Center’s grounds and buildings. It’s a chance to give back, connect with Baba at His home, and enjoy the joy of working together.
Reservations for the Sahavas are now open. Please call the Gateway to reserve your spot: (843) 272-5777. Below are a few details to keep in mind:
- We expect participants to arrive March 12th for the opening meeting that evening. Your reservation can also include days before and after those dates.
- All attendees should plan to participate in all activities.
- The Center will be closed to non-Sahavas overnight guests from March 11th and will reopen on March 17th.
- Those from the nearby community are welcome to join, as long as they attend the full duration– staying on or off Center.
- If you are staying off Center, please call the Gateway to sign up for the event.
- All ages are welcome!
- The cost of the event is the regular adult cabin fee of $28 per person, per night, with an additional fee of $35 for Sahavas expenses incurred by the Center.
- Communal meals planned are: Friday and Saturday night dinners and a Sunday brunch.
- Come prepared to work, which will be physical for the most part.
