Peter Nordeen shares a video about Kaikhushru Masa
For this week’s “lover’s offering,” Peter Nordeen, a Meher Baba historian, shares a video about Kaikhushru Masa. Born in 1880, Kaikhushru was one of Meher Baba’s earliest and closest disciples. Peter tells the poignant story of this spiritual seeker, taking us on a journey covering Kaikhushru’s early adulthood as a seeker of God; his meeting the five Perfect Masters of the time; surrendering himself and his wife, Soonamasi, and daughter, Khorshed, to his Master, Meher Baba; his terrible troubles with his family; and finally his death in 1931, dying in Meher Baba’s arms.

“Drowning in this ocean of love”
In 1927, Meher Baba established the Prem Ashram, a small school at Meherabad focused on love for God. Many of the boys in the school had profound spiritual experiences before Baba sent them back to their homes. Esfandiar Vesali was part of the Prem Ashram, an experience which formed the foundation for the rest of his life. In this talk, given in Farsi with translation, Esfandiar discusses how Baba continued to be his beloved companion throughout his life, both inwardly and when he saw Him again in the body.

Adi Arjani grew up in Bombay and moved to Karachi where he first heard of Baba while meeting with his prospective wife, Dolly, who told him, “I belong to Meher Baba.” Despite his Parsi Zoroastrian faith, his inner appeals to Ahuramazda were answered by Baba and he slowly began to notice Baba’s presence inwardly.
