“This is who I’ve been looking for my whole life”
When Pamela Butler Stone was growing up, she had a strong feeling that she was going to meet Jesus in this lifetime. In 1970, she heard about Baba only to find that He had already dropped His body, which was “really crushing.” In this engaging talk, she shares other compelling Baba stories, complete with their challenges, from studying Montessori in Italy to adopting her daughter Saroja in India to her current work for the Heartland Center.

“I remember Baba’s beautiful face in the crypt”
Prashant Ahir is the son of Pratap Ahir, one of the original members of the Poona Bhajan mandali. In this natural, enjoyable and familial talk, Prashant shares the stories of his father’s coming to Baba, his own memory of seeing Baba, the healing of a childhood illness and more. His wife, Arti, goes on to share stories of her father Laxmikant Thade, an ardent Baba devotee, and some touching stories of her time with Mehera. Their love and devotion is unmistakable in this sweet talk!

A Delightful Evening of Music and Poetry
This charming mix of music and poetry led by Buz Connor features songs of love for Meher Baba. Buz is accompanied Michael Hansen and Cliff Hackford and they play many old favorites. Fereshteh Azad adds her lyrical voice reading some of her moving translations of Hafez, including some from her forthcoming book. It’s a delightful evening not to be missed!

Explanations of Spirituality Written in Baba’s Own Hand; A presentation by Sevn McAuley
Around 1925, Meher Baba wrote thirty-nine pages by hand of spiritual and philosophical explanations, which today are some of the only writings of this kind we have in Baba’s own hand. These papers weren’t discovered until the early 2000s in Baba’s sister Mani’s possessions. In this presentation, Sevn McAuley dives into these incredible writings, displaying the pages and discussing the themes and deeper meanings they contain.

“The more we involve Him, the more He becomes involved”
In this moving talk, Nick Principe shares intimate stories about his times with many of Baba’s mandali as well as the wisdom they imparted. From what Adi K. Irani, Baba’s secretary, told him about the difference between consciousness and awareness, to delightful stories about Elizabeth Patterson and Kitty Davy. Nick also talks about volunteering at the Center in the mid 1970s to 1980 as well as what it was like to have the privilege to wash and cut the hair of many of the mandali.
