The book that I shall make people read is the book of the heart that holds the key to the mystery of life. I shall bring about a happy blending of the head and heart. I shall revitalize all religions and cults, and bring them together like beads on one string.

Chai at Original Kitchen

Tea (“Chai”) is part of daily life throughout India. Meher Baba’s followers prepared and drank chai at home, on the road, even on moving trains—and after Baba dropped His body, chai provided opportunities for connection and sharing between Baba’s Mandali and those coming to learn about Him. The tradition of drinking chai together continues today at the Center, where guests and nearby community can chat informally, get to know one another, and share their experience of Meher Baba.
