Readings from Meher Baba’s Discourses, Library Reading Room

Written in the 1940’s, Discourses is among Meher Baba’s primary works that shines the light of true knowledge on life’s perplexing problems. This book serves as a practical guide for the determined seeker navigating the spiritual path.

The reading of Discourses at the Center is one of the four purposes stated in the Meher Center Charter written by Meher Baba Himself. The purpose of these weekly gatherings is to examine and attempt to absorb the wisdom embedded in the words of the Avatar of the Age. Participants take turns reading aloud from the book and afterwards there is a brief discussion on the selected chapter. The Discourses provide the reader with Meher Baba’s blueprint on how to live His life of love and truth.
